“100% commission” deserves a closer look.
Momentum advertises 100% commission, with a brokerage fee of 0.2% of each sale price up to a $12,000 yearly cap. On a typical Florida sale, that 0.2% is more than our 5%. For most agents grossing under about $240,000, Firelight360’s 95/5 costs less.
The detail behind “100%”
Momentum’s fee is figured on the sale price. Ours is figured on your commission. On a $400,000 sale with a 2.5% side, here’s how each lands:
| A full year, $400K sales at 2.5% | Momentum | Firelight360 |
|---|---|---|
| $60,000 GCI (6 sales) | $4,800 | $3,049 |
| $120,000 GCI (12 sales) | $9,600 | $6,049 |
| $250,000 GCI (25 sales) | $12,000 (capped) | $12,549 |
Momentum figures exclude its one-time $350 onboarding fee and any per-transaction processing fee, which its pages describe inconsistently. Honest read: above roughly $240,000 in GCI, Momentum’s cap makes it cheaper. Below that, 95/5 is. Higher commission rates narrow our edge; lower rates widen it.

At $400,000 sales and a 2.5% side, we cost less up to roughly $240,000 in yearly GCI. Above that, Momentum’s cap makes it cheaper.
No cap, because we start at 5% of your commission instead of a percentage of the price.
